Baji Rao I did become Peshwa in 1720 on the death of his father Balaji Vishwanath, but he died in 1740, not 1750. 1750 is the year of the Sangola agreement, by which Chhatrapati Ramaraja handed real power to Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao, as statement (3) says.
