Two months share a calendar when the days between their first days are a multiple of 7 and they have the same number of days. In a leap year January to July spans 31 + 29 + 31 + 30 + 31 + 30 = 182 = 26 weeks, and in a non-leap year January to October spans 273 days = 39 weeks; both July and October have 31 days like January.
