If the difference between the compound interest and the simple interest on a certain sum at 15% p.a. rate of interest for 3 years is ₹ 567, then the difference of the amounts (in rupees) accumulated at the end of 2nd year is

For 3 years, CI − SI = P × r² × (3 + r) = P × 0.0225 × 3.15 = 0.070875P = 567, so P = ₹ 8,000. At the end of the 2nd year the CI and SI amounts differ by P × r² = 8,000 × 0.0225 = ₹ 180.
3 సంవత్సరాలకు చక్రవడ్డీ, బారువడ్డీల భేదం CI − SI = P × r² × (3 + r) = P × 0.0225 × 3.15 = 0.070875P = 567, కాబట్టి P = ₹ 8,000. 2వ సంవత్సరాంతానికి చక్రవడ్డీ, బారువడ్డీ మొత్తాల భేదం P × r² = 8,000 × 0.0225 = ₹ 180.
