Directions (Q.No 163 and 164) : Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below. Following are the conditions for selecting a senior clerk in a company. The candidate must (i) get atleast 50% marks in screening test (ii) have a graduate degree with atleast 60% marks (iii) have computer course certificate in Microsoft office (iv) have less than 28 years of age as on 1.6.2022 (v) have atleast 55% marks in S.S.C. In case a candidate (a) who doesn't satisfy (i) above, but has secured atleast 70% marks in graduate degree and atleast 45% marks in screening test, will be recruited as junior clerk. (b) who doesn't satisfy (ii) above, but has work experience of atleast one year in a company and atleast 50% marks in graduate degree, will be recruited as Head clerk. Mr. Y was born on 3rd May 1995. (v met), but 46% in the screening test fails (i); exception (a) would cover that (degree ≥ 70%, screening ≥ 45%), yet nothing says he holds the Microsoft Office certificate (iii), which is still required, so he cannot be recruited.
