Below a statement which is to be taken as true followed by two assumptions numbered I and II are given. Decide which of the given assumption(s) is(are) implicit in the statement. Statement : A asked her husband, "Why don't you invite your brother to the festival" ? Assumptions : I. Unless invited, the brother of A's husband will not attend the festival. II. The presence of the brother of A's husband for the festival is required.

- Only II is implicit
- Both I and II are implicit
- Neither I nor II is implicit

Suggesting that the husband invite his brother presumes the brother would not come on his own without an invitation, so I is implicit; but A's suggestion does not mean his presence is "required" for the festival (she may simply wish to include him), so II is not implicit.
