Pranjal Patil of Maharashtra, who lost her eyesight as a child, cleared the civil services examination and joined the IAS; she is known as India's first visually challenged woman IAS officer and took charge as Sub-Collector of Thiruvananthapuram in 2019. The key takes her as the answer although the question leaves out the word "woman" and visually impaired men such as Rajesh Singh (2007 batch) had joined the IAS earlier.
