A train from station A started at 8 a.m and travelled towards station B which is at a distance of 390 km. This train travelled with a speed of 65 kmph for the first hour and rest of the time travelled with a speed of 50 kmph. Another train started from station B towards A at 9 a.m with a speed of 35 kmph for the first hour and with a speed of 50 kmph for rest of the journey. Then the time at which they meet each other is

By 9 a.m the first train has covered 65 km, leaving 325 km; from 9 to 10 a.m they close 50 + 35 = 85 km, leaving 240 km. After that they approach at 50 + 50 = 100 kmph, taking 2.4 h = 2 h 24 min, so they meet at 12.24 p.m.
