Below a statement is followed by two arguments numbered I and II. Decide which of the arguments is a 'strong' argument and which is a 'weak' argument. Statement : Should the manufacturing of leather products be prohibited ? Arguments : I. Yes. Killing animals for any reason other than the reason for the purposes of human beings will lead to ecological imbalance. II. No, through leather products our country earns biggest foreign exchange.

Argument I is weak: leather products are themselves made for human use, so by its own terms it gives no ground for a ban, and the claim about ecological imbalance is sweeping. Argument II is weak because it is an exaggeration (leather is not India's biggest foreign-exchange earner) and earning money alone is not a sufficient reason.
