Six persons P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6 live one on each floor in a building having six floors numbered from bottom to top. P3 lives in a floor immediately below the floor of P1. P5 lives in the floor immediately below the floor of P4. Three people live between the floors of P6 and P5. P2 does not live in the top most floor. P1 does not show interest to live on any floor below the floor of P4. P5 and P6 live on the even numbered floors. Then the persons P1 and P2 respectively live in the floors.

P5 and P6 are on even floors with three people between them, so they occupy floors 2 and 6; P5 is just below P4, so P5 = 2, P4 = 3 and P6 = 6. P1 must be above P4 with P3 just below him, so P1 = 5 and P3 = 4, leaving floor 1 for P2: the answer is 5 & 1.
