   Kalpana's project report consists of 40 pages, each of 75 lines with 80 characters in each line. The lines are reduced to 70, but the number of characters is increased to 95 per line. What is the approximate change in the number of pages ?

   Total characters = 40 × 75 × 80 = 2,40,000. Each new page holds 70 × 95 = 6,650 characters, so about 2,40,000/6,650 ≈ 36.1 pages are needed, a change of about -9.8%, i.e. roughly -10%.
