India's total power generation rose from about 1,624 BU in 2022-23 to 1,739 BU in 2023-24 and over 1,800 BU in 2024-25, and edged up again (by less than 1%) in 2025-26, so 1 is correct. As per the Ministry of Power, average daily supply has increased in rural areas from 12.5 hours in 2014 to 22.6 hours in 2025, and in urban areas to 23.4 hours, so 2 is also correct.
