   All four rise in the Western Ghats region and drain into the Arabian Sea: Sharavathi (Karnataka, forms Jog Falls), Periyar (Kerala), Mandovi (Goa) and Daman Ganga (Maharashtra-Gujarat, reaching the sea at Daman). Hence all four are west-flowing rivers.
