The Ninth Schedule (protected by Article 31B) lists the MRTP Act, 1969, the General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Act, 1972 and the Coal Mines (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1973 as entries 91, 95 and 98. The Schedule ends at entry 284 and has not been enlarged since the mid-1990s, so the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 is not in it.
