Kabir's dohas and sakhis were composed in a mixed vernacular Hindi (Sadhukkadi, with Awadhi, Braj and Bhojpuri elements), not Urdu; they are preserved in the Bijak and the Guru Granth Sahib. He rejected idol worship and caste, and his followers form the Kabir Panth.
