In February 2023 the Press Council of India chose veteran Telugu journalist A.B.K. Prasad (Anne Bhavani Koteswara Prasad) for its Raja Ram Mohan Roy award for outstanding contribution to journalism. He edited several major Telugu dailies and chaired the Andhra Pradesh Official Language Commission.
ఫిబ్రవరి 2023లో ప్రెస్ కౌన్సిల్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా, జర్నలిజానికి అత్యుత్తమ సేవలు అందించినందుకు ఇచ్చే రాజా రామ్మోహన్ రాయ్ అవార్డుకు సీనియర్ తెలుగు పాత్రికేయుడు ఎ.బి.కె. ప్రసాద్ (అన్నే భవానీ కోటేశ్వర ప్రసాద్) ను ఎంపిక చేసింది. ఆయన అనేక ప్రధాన తెలుగు దినపత్రికలకు సంపాదకుడిగా పనిచేశారు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అధికార భాషా సంఘానికి అధ్యక్షుడిగా ఉన్నారు.
