   A paper sheet is folded and cut as shown in the following figure (A). If that is unfolded then it looks like

   The sheet is folded in half twice and two semicircles are cut on the folded edge. Opening the second fold turns each semicircle into a full circle (2 circles), and opening the first fold mirrors them to the other half, giving 4 full circles in a row, as in figure (4).

   కాగితాన్ని రెండుసార్లు సగానికి మడిచి, మడత అంచుపై రెండు అర్ధవృత్తాలు కత్తిరించారు. రెండవ మడతను తెరిస్తే ప్రతి అర్ధవృత్తం పూర్తి వృత్తం అవుతుంది (2 వృత్తాలు), మొదటి మడతను తెరిస్తే అవి మిగిలిన సగ భాగంలోకి దర్పణ ప్రతిబింబంలా వస్తాయి; అలా ఒకే వరుసలో 4 పూర్తి వృత్తాలు ఏర్పడతాయి, పటం (4) లో ఉన్నట్లు.
