   Let the original mixture have a liters of acid in T liters; then a = (T + 1)/5 and a + 1 = (T + 2)/3. Substituting T + 1 = 5a gives 3a + 3 = 5a + 1, so a = 1 and T = 4. The original acid share is 1/4 = 25%.
