   A mirror along the vertical line MN reverses left and right but keeps top and bottom unchanged, so the image should read, from the left: an upright stroke rising from the line, a slant down to the right below the line, a stroke back up above the line and a final slant down to the right onto the line. Option (4) is the only figure with this left-right reversed pattern (its middle rising stroke is drawn slightly slanted instead of upright), while option (2) is the question figure turned through 180°. (TSLPRB's final key also gave the mark to candidates who left this question unanswered.)
