Rajani has a digital watch that shows time in a 24-hour format. The time on the watch shows 23:45. After passing 'A' minutes the watch shows the time in such a way that the four whole numbers are again arranged in ascending order from left to right. Then what will be the value of A × A?

Here "ascending order" means four consecutive digits rising by 1, as in 23:45 (2-3-4-5); merely rising digits would allow 23:46 and give A = 1. The next such time is 01:23 (0-1-2-3), and from 23:45 to 01:23 is 15 + 83 = 98 minutes, so A × A = 98² = 9604.
