Consider the following statements : I. A Parallelogram having all the sides equal is a Rhombus. II. All the Rhombuses are Parallelograms, but the reverse is not true. III. A Rhombus may or may not be a Square, but all Squares are Rhombuses. Which among the above given statements are correct ?

A rhombus is a parallelogram with all four sides equal (I), so every rhombus is a parallelogram, but a parallelogram with unequal adjacent sides is not a rhombus (II). A rhombus is a square only when its angles are 90°, while every square has four equal sides and so is a rhombus (III). All three statements are therefore correct.
