   In a row of 40 girls, when Ankitha was shifted to her left by four places, her number from the left end of the row becomes 10. What was the number of Kanchana from the right end of the row if Kanchana was three places to the right of Ankitha’s original position ?

   After moving 4 places left Ankitha is 10th from the left, so she was originally 14th; Kanchana, 3 places to her right, is 17th from the left, i.e. 40 − 17 + 1 = 24th from the right.
