Consider the following statements regarding India : I. India has an area of 3·28 million sq km, and accounts for about 2·4 percent of the total geographical area of the world. II. The mainland of India extends between latitudes 8°4′ N and 37°6′ N and longitude 68°7′ E and 97°25′ E. III. Presently India has 28 States and 8 Union Territories. Which of the statements given above is/are correct ?

India covers about 3.28 million sq km (about 2.4% of the world's area), its mainland lies between 8°4′N–37°6′N and 68°7′E–97°25′E, and since January 2020 (merger of Dadra & Nagar Haveli with Daman & Diu) it has 28 States and 8 Union Territories, so all three statements are correct.
