There is a Place-A with longitude 060° West. There is another Place-B with longitude 090° East. If the local time at Place-A is 10 AM, what would be the local time at Place-B ?

The longitude difference is 60° + 90° = 150°; at 4 minutes per degree that is 600 minutes = 10 hours, and Place-B, being to the east, is ahead, so 10 AM + 10 h = 8 PM.
