   In the Na⁺/Ca²⁺ exchanger the same carrier moves Na⁺ into the cell while it moves Ca²⁺ out, i.e. the two ions travel in opposite directions, which is antiport. Symport moves two substances in the same direction, uniport moves a single substance, and aquaporins are water channels.
