    उत्तर: (3) केवल 1 और 3

Under Article 149 and the CAG (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971, the CAG audits and reports on all expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of India (and of each State), and also on bodies and authorities substantially financed from Union or State revenues. Statement 2 is wrong: unlike the British Comptroller and Auditor-General, India's CAG has no control over the issue of money from the Consolidated Fund; money is withdrawn by the executive under parliamentary appropriation, and the CAG acts only as an auditor after the expenditure.
