Answer: (4) the inclination of the Earth about its axis

    उत्तर: (4) पृथ्वी की अपनी धुरी पर झुकाव

The Earth's axis is tilted about 23.5° from the perpendicular to its orbital plane, so as the Earth revolves the angle of the Sun's rays and the length of day at a place change through the year, causing seasonal variation in insolation. Rotation causes day and night, while cloudiness and pollution reduce insolation locally but do not produce the seasonal cycle.
