A rectangular plot of dimensions 210 meters × 120 meters is divided into 4 equal parts by two roads each of width 12 meters running in the middle of it, one parallel to the length and the other parallel to the breadth. Then the area of each part is (in Sq. meters)

Removing the two crossing roads leaves (210 - 12) × (120 - 12) = 198 × 108 = 21,384 sq m. Each of the 4 equal parts = 21,384/4 = 5,346 sq m.
