   A Shopkeeper sells an article by offering 24% discount on the marked price and there by gets a loss of 5%. If he does not offer the discount, then the gain/loss he gets is

   1. 20% gain

   ఒక దుకాణ దారుడికి ప్రకటిత వెలపై 24% రాయితీపై ఒక వస్తువును అమ్మితే, 5% నష్టం వచ్చింది. రాయితీ లేకుండా అమ్మితే, వచ్చే లాభం లేదా నష్టం.

   Answer: (3) 25% gain

   సమాధానం: (3) 25% లాభం

   Selling price = 0.76 × MP = 0.95 × CP, so MP = (0.95/0.76) × CP = 1.25 × CP. Selling at the marked price without any discount therefore gives a 25% gain.

   అమ్మకపు వెల = 0.76 × MP = 0.95 × CP (MP = ప్రకటిత వెల, CP = కొన్న వెల), కాబట్టి MP = (0.95/0.76) × CP = 1.25 × CP. అందువల్ల ఎలాంటి రాయితీ ఇవ్వకుండా ప్రకటిత వెలకే అమ్మితే 25% లాభం వస్తుంది.
