Birbal (Mahesh Das), a Brahmin, became one of Akbar's closest courtiers and a mansabdar, but he was never Diwan; it was Raja Todar Mal who became Diwan and carried out the revenue reforms, and the Din-i-Ilahi was promulgated in 1582. Statements (1) and (3) are loosely worded (Todar Mal was a Khatri, and Man Singh was the nephew, not the brother-in-law, of Akbar's Rajput queen), but (2) is the clearly wrong one.
