   Two students appeared at an examination. One of them secured 9 marks more than the other and his marks were 56% of the sum of their marks. The marks obtained by them are:

   ఒక పరీక్షకు ఇద్దరు అభ్యర్థులు హాజరయ్యారు. వాళ్ళలో ఒకడు రెండవ వాడి కంటే 9 మార్కులు ఎక్కువ తెచ్చుకున్నాడు. అతని మార్కులు వాళ్ళ మొత్తం మార్కులలో 56%. వాళ్ళు తెచ్చుకున్న మార్కులు–

   Answer: 42 and 33

   సమాధానం: 42, 33

   If the total is T, the gap of 9 marks is 56% – 44% = 12% of T, so T = 75. The marks are 42 and 33.
