GSAT-N2 satellite will be lifted by using SpaceX's Falcon-9 rocket and is scheduled in the 2nd quarter of 2025. III. The collaboration of NSIL with SpaceX was made due to the current limitation of India's rockets, which are lacking in the capacity to lift large communication satellites. Which among the above given statements are correct?
- I and II
- II and III
- I and III
- I, II and III
III.
- I మరియు II

- I, II మరియు III
Show answer
Answer: (3) I and III
సమాధానం: (3) I మరియు III
II is wrong: when NSIL announced the SpaceX deal in January 2024, the Falcon-9 launch of GSAT-N2 (GSAT-20) was planned for the second quarter of 2024, not 2025 (it finally flew in November 2024). III is right because the roughly 4,700 kg satellite is heavier than ISRO's LVM3 can place in geostationary transfer orbit, and as every other option includes II, the answer is I and III (GSAT-N2 is fully funded and owned by NSIL, though NSIL itself called it its second demand-driven mission after GSAT-24).
