Vande Bharat Express travelling at 63 kmph can cross a platform of Visakhapatnam railway station which is 199.5 m long in 21 seconds. How much time would Vande Bharat Express take to completely cross (from the moment they meet) Duronto Express 157 m long and travelling at 54 kmph in the opposite direction to it ?

63 km/h = 17.5 m/s, so in 21 s the train covers 367.5 m, which is its own length plus 199.5 m, giving a length of 168 m. The relative speed in opposite directions is 63 + 54 = 117 km/h = 32.5 m/s, so the time = (168 + 157)/32.5 = 10 seconds.
