Consider the following statements : I. Indian Naval ships Cheetah, Guldar and Magar were decommissioned on 12th January, 2024. The decommissioning event was conducted at Lakshadweep. II. INS Imphal, a Project 15B stealth guided missile destroyer was commissioned into the Indian Navy at an immersion ceremony held at the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on December 26th, 2023. Which among the above statements is/are correct ?

The ships decommissioned on 12 January 2024 were INS Cheetah, Guldar and Kumbhir (not Magar), and the ceremony was held at Port Blair, not Lakshadweep, so I is wrong. INS Imphal, the third Project 15B (Visakhapatnam-class) destroyer, was commissioned at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on 26 December 2023, so II is correct.
