Select the correct statements regarding the inscriptions of Ashoka : I. They are in Brahmi, Kharosthi, Greek and Aramaic scripts. II. The Monarch’s name was mentioned as Ashoka only in Maski and Gurjara inscriptions. III. The XIII Rock edict mentioned the names of the five Greek Rulers as his contemporaries. IV. The IV and V edicts mentioned the war of succession with his brothers.

Ashoka's edicts are in Brahmi, Kharosthi, Greek and Aramaic; most call him only "Devanampiya Piyadasi", and the personal name Ashoka appears in minor rock edicts such as Maski and Gujarra (Nittur and Udegolam, found later, also name him); Rock Edict XIII names five Greek kings including Antiochus and Ptolemy. No edict describes a war of succession with his brothers, so IV is wrong. (Official key; some sources differ.)
