In the given figure, lines PQ, RS, TV intersect at O. If x : y : z = 1 : 2 : 3, then find the values of x, y, z. [Figure: x = ∠POR (between OP and OR), y = ∠VOQ (between OV and OQ), z = ∠TOS (between OT and OS).]

Answer: x=30°, y=60°, z=90°

∠TOS = ∠ROV (vertically opposite angles), so x + y + z = ∠POR + ∠ROV + ∠VOQ = ∠POQ = 180°. Dividing 180° in the ratio 1 : 2 : 3 gives x = 30°, y = 60°, z = 90°.
