   A man can do a piece of work in 5 days, but with the help of his son, he can do it in 3 days. In what time can the son do it alone ?

   ఒక మనిషి ఒక పనిని 5 రోజులలో పూర్తిచేయగలడు. అదే తనకొడుకు సహాయంతో 3 రోజులలో పూర్తిచేయగలడు. మరి ఆ కొడుకు ఒక్కడే ఆ పనిని ఎన్ని రోజులలో చేస్తాడు?

   Answer: 7½ days

   సమాధానం: 7½ రోజులలో

   The son's one-day work = 1/3 − 1/5 = 2/15, so alone he needs 15/2 = 7½ days.
