   Find the remainder when 2⁸⁹ is divided by 89.

   89 is prime, so by Fermat's little theorem 2⁸⁸ leaves remainder 1 when divided by 89. Hence 2⁸⁹ = 2⁸⁸ × 2 leaves remainder 1 × 2 = 2.
